فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِىَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ بِيَمِينِهِۦ

Then as for him who is given his book of record in his right hand,

Then as for him who is given his Record in his right hand[b],[4648]

17:72; 56:28; 69:20.

Commentary:

"The right hand" being a metaphor for power and strength, the verse means that those fortunate people who had acted upon the teachings of the Quran with patience and perseverance will be given their record in their right hand, signifying that they had lived up to its commandments to the best of their ability.

پس وہ جسے اُس کا اعمال نامہ اس کے دائیں ہاتھ میں دیا جائے گا۔

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

پس جس کے داہنے[5] ہاتھ میں اس کا اعمال نامہ دیا جائے گا۔

داہنے سے مرادنیکی ہے پس داہنے ہاتھ میں اعمال نامہ دینے کے معنے یہ ہیں کہ اس کی نیکیاں غالب ہوں گی اور اس کے داہنے ہاتھ میں اعمال نامہ آتے ہی اسے پتہ لگ جائے گا کہ وہ جنتی ہے۔

پھر جس کا نامہ اعمال اُس کے سیدھے ہاتھ میں دیا گیا
