عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ

Each soul shall then know what it has sent forth and what it has held back.

Commentary:

In this and the next few verses the address is to the protagonists and propagandists of the false Christian doctrines. They will come to realize the enormity and heinousness of their false teaching.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

ہر نفس کو علم ہو جائے گا کہ اُس نے کیا آگے بھیجا ہے اور کیا پیچھے چھوڑا ہے۔

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

تب وہ بڑی (خطا کار) جان[2] (جس کا یہاں ذکر ہے) جان لے گی کہ کیا (کچھ) اس نے آگے بھیجا ہے اور کیا (کچھ) پیچھے [3]چھوڑا ہے۔

اس جگہ نفس سے مراد عیسائیت ہے کیونکہ شرک اور الحاد اسی کے ذریعہ سے دنیا میں پھیل رہا ہے۔

یعنی خداتعالیٰ ایسی علامتیں پیدا کر دے گا جس سے عیسائیت کی تباہی کے آثار ظاہر ہو جائیں گے اور عیسائی قوم معلوم کر لے گی کہ ہم نے بڑے گندے عمل کیے ہیں اور اپنے پیچھے ایسے نشان چھوڑے جا رہے ہیں۔ جو لوگوں کے دلوں میں ہمارے متعلق نفرت پیدا کرتے رہیں گے۔

اُس وقت ہر شخص کو اُس کا اگلا پچھلا سب کیا دھرا معلوم ہو جائے گا
