أَمْ أَبْرَمُوٓا۟ أَمْرًا فَإِنَّا مُبْرِمُونَ

Have they determined upon a course? Then We too are determined.

Have they determined upon a course? Then We too are determined.[3691]

Commentary:

The verse means to say that the plans and plots of disbelievers against Islam are doomed to end in failure. While on the one hand disbelievers are leaving no stone unturned to bring to naught the endeavours of the Holy Prophet and his followers to preach and spread Islam; on the other the Almighty has decreed that it shall grow and prosper in the teeth of determined opposition.

Have they determined upon a course to compass thy end? Then We, too, have determined their destruction.

کیا انہوں نے کچھ کرنے کا فیصلہ کرلیا ہے؟ تو یقیناً ہم نے بھی کچھ کرنے کا فیصلہ کرلیا ہے۔

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

کیا ان لوگوں نے[1] (رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر) حملہ کرنے کا کوئی فیصلہ کر لیا ہے (اگر ایسا ہے) تو ہم نے بھی ان کی تباہی کا فیصلہ کر لیا ہے۔

کتنا بڑا نشان ہے زُخْرُف مکّی سورۃ ہے۔ اس میں ایک تو یہ خبر دی ہے کہ کفار مکہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے خلاف خطرناک منصوبہ کریں گے اور دوسری خبر یہ دی ہے کہ وہ ناکام رہیں گے اور ہم ان کو تباہ کر دیں گے اور یہ دونوں پیشگوئیاں پوری ہوگئیں۔ منکرین قرآن کے لئے اب انکار کی کیا گنجائش ہے۔

کیا اِن لوگوں نے کوئی اقدام کرنے کا فیصلہ کر لیا ہے؟ اچھا تو ہم بھی پھر ایک فیصلہ کیے لیتے ہیں
