قُلْ كَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَكُمْ شَهِيدًا ۖ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱلْبَٰطِلِ وَكَفَرُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Say, ‘Allah is sufficient as a Witness between me and you. He knows what is in the heavens and the earth. And as for those who believe in falsehood and disbelieve in Allah, they it is who are the losers.’

English - Five Volume Translation

Say, [a]‘Allah is sufficient as a Witness between me and you. He knows what is in the heavens and the earth. And as for those who believe in falsehood and disbelieve in Allah, they it is who are the losers.’[2977]

Commentary:

This verse continues and develops the theme of the preceding verse. It purports to say that the disbelievers demand a sign to support and bear witness to the Holy Prophet’s claim as Divine Messenger while God Himself is Witness to his truth. Being All-Knowing and All-Aware, He knows best what signs He should show to help and advance the cause of the Holy Prophet. The disbelievers, surely, shall have such signs.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

تُو کہہ دے کہ میرے اور تمہارے درمیان اللہ بطور گواہ کافی ہے۔ وہ جانتا ہے جو آسمانوں اور زمین میں ہے اور وہ لوگ جو باطل پر ایمان لے آئے اور اللہ کا انکار کر دیا یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جو نقصان اٹھانے والے ہیں۔

French

Dis : « Allāh suffit comme Témoin entre moi et vous. Il sait ce qu’il y a dans les cieux et sur la terre. Et quant à ceux qui croient au mensonge, et ne croient pas en Allāh, ceux-là sont les perdants.

German

Sprich: "Allah genügt als Zeuge zwischen mir und euch. Er weiß, was in den Himmeln und was auf Erden ist. Und diejenigen, die das Falsche annehmen und Allah ablehnen, das sind die Verlierenden."

Chinese

你说: [a]“在你们和我之间, 安拉做为见证者足够了。” 他知道天地之间的一切。关于那些信仰虚假而不信安拉的人, 他们就是损失者。”

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

تو کہہ دے میرے اور تمہارے درمیان بطور گواہ فیصلہ کرنے والا اللہ ہی کافی ہے اور جو کچھ آسمانوں میں ہے اور زمین میں ہے اسے وہ جانتا ہے اور جو لوگ باطل پر عمل کرتے ہیں اور اللہ کے احکام کا انکار کرتے ہیں وہی گھاٹے میں پڑنے والے ہیں۔

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

(اے نبیؐ) کہو کہ "میرے اور تمہارے درمیان اللہ گواہی کے لیے کافی ہے وہ آسمانوں اور زمین میں سب کچھ جانتا ہے جو لوگ باطل کو مانتے ہیں اور اللہ سے کفر کرتے ہیں وہی خسارے میں رہنے والے ہیں"

English - Sahih

Say, "Sufficient is Allah between me and you as Witness. He knows what is in the heavens and earth. And they who have believed in falsehood and disbelieved in Allah - it is those who are the losers."

کہہ دو الله میرے اور تمہارے درمیان گواہ کافی ہے جو کچھ آسمانوں اور زمین میں ہے جانتا ہے اور جو لوگ جھوٹ پر ایمان لائے اورالله کا انکار کیا وہی نقصان پانے والے ہیں

Say (O Prophet): “Allah suffices as a witness between me and you. He knows whatever is in the heavens and the earth. As for those who believe in falsehood and are engaged in infidelity with Allah, it is they who will be the losers.”
