وَتَقَطَّعُوٓا۟ أَمْرَهُم بَيْنَهُمْ ۖ كُلٌّ إِلَيْنَا رَٰجِعُونَ

But they have become divided among themselves in their affair; and all will return to Us.

23:54.

Commentary:

One class of people—the righteous servants of God—has been mentioned in the preceding few verses. The present verse refers to another class—those who always reject God’s Prophets—with the result that they fall victim to differences and disagreements among themselves and come to hold mutually antagonistic beliefs and doctrines.

[d]And they split up their affair among themselves[1916] and all will return to Us.

23:54.

اور (بعد میں) انہوں نے اپنا مسلک آپس میں ٹکڑے ٹکڑے بانٹ لیا۔ سبھی ہماری طرف لَوٹ کر آنے والے ہیں۔

23:54.

Pero ellos se han dividido mutuamente en su asunto; mas todos volverán a Nosotros.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور انہوں (یعنی انبیاء کے مخالفوں) نے اپنے دین کو ٹکڑے ٹکڑے (کرکے اپنے مناسب حال ٹکڑے کو اختیار) کر لیا ہے[3] (حالانکہ) وہ سب ہماری طرف لوٹائے جانے والے ہیں۔

یعنی بعض ٹکڑے کسی حصہ قوم کے فائدے کے لئے بنا دئے تھے اور بعض ٹکڑے کسی حصہ قوم کے فائدہ کے لئے بنا دئے تھے۔ چنانچہ آج کل علماء نے بھی اپنا رُعب جمانے کے لئے کئی قسم کے جمعیتیں بنا لی ہیں۔ کوئی جمعیۃ العلماء کہلاتی ہے کوئی ندوۃ العلماء۔ کوئی حنفیوں‘ بریلویوں اور اہل حدیثوں کی جمعیت ہے اور بظاہر یہ معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ وہ اسلام کی شوکت بڑھانے کے لئے عمل کر رہے ہیں لیکن حقیقت میں وہ اپنی مجلسوں اور اپنے لیڈروں کے اعزاز کو بڑھانے کی کوشش کر رہے ہیں۔

مگر (یہ لوگوں کی کارستانی ہے کہ) انہوں نے آپس میں دین کو ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کر ڈالا سب کو ہماری طرف پلٹنا ہے

English - Sahih

And [yet] they divided their affair among themselves, [but] all to Us will return.

اور ان لوگوں نے اپنے دین میں اختلاف پیدا کر لیا سب ہمارے پاس ہی آنے والے ہیں
