ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ سَبْعَ سَمَٰوَٰتٍ وَمِنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ مِثْلَهُنَّ يَتَنَزَّلُ ٱلْأَمْرُ بَيْنَهُنَّ لِتَعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَدْ أَحَاطَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عِلْمًۢا

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Allah is He Who created seven heavens, and of the earth the like thereof. The divine command comes down in their midst, that you may know that Allah has power over all things, and that Allah encompasses all things in His knowledge.

Allah is He Who created seven heavens, and of the earth the like thereof.a The divine command comes down in their midst, that you may know that Allah has power over all things, and that Allah encompasses all things in His knowledge.[4276]

Commentary:

The verse purports to say that God’s decree works in heavens and earth to the effect that His Messengers and their righteous followers are blessed with a divine light which guides them in their affairs and leads them to success and prosperity, while disbelievers suffer the evil consequences of their rejection of the Divine Message. In the preceding two verses a pointed reference is made to this subject.

"Seven earths" may be the seven major planets of the solar system and seven heavens their orbits or ways as elsewhere so called in the Quran (23:18). Or spiritually speaking "seven heavens" may signify seven stages of the spiritual development of man and "seven earths" those of his physical growth. Allah is He Who created [c]seven heavens, and of the earth the like thereof.[3070A] The Divine command comes down in their midst, that you may know that Allah has power over all things, and that Allah encompasses all things in His knowledge.

67:4; 71:16.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اللہ وہ ہے جس نے سات آسمان پیدا کئے اور زمینوں میں سے بھی اُن کی طرح ہی۔ (اس کا) حکم اُن کے درمیان بکثرت اُترتا ہے تاکہ تم جان لو کہ اللہ ہر چیز پر جسے وہ چاہے دائمی قدرت رکھتا ہے اور یہ کہ اللہ علم کے لحاظ سے ہر چیز کا احاطہ کئے ہوئے ہے۔

Allāh est Celui Qui a créé sept cieux, et en a fait autant pour la terre. Le commandement divin descend en abondance au milieu d’eux afin que vous sachiez qu’Allāh a le pouvoir de faire tout ce qu’Il veut, et qu’Allāh embrasse toutes choses dans Sa connaissance.

Allah ist es, Der sieben Himmel erschuf und von der Erde eine gleiche Zahl. Der (göttliche) Befehl steigt nieder in ihre Mitte, auf dass ihr erfahret, dass Allah alle Dinge zu tun vermag und dass Allah alle Dinge mit Wissen umfasst.

安拉创造了[c]七天及与其同一数量的大地。[1443] (天) 命下降于它们之间, 以便你们知道安拉对于每一事物都具有力量, 对于每一事物都具有知识。

“七个地球” 可以指太阳系的七个主要行星, 而七个天指行星轨道或道路, «古兰经» (23:18) 也这么指称。或者从精神上说, “七个天” 可以代表人的精神发展的七个阶段, 而 “七个地球” 指人体增长的阶段。

Allah è Colui che ha creato i sette cieli, e altrettante terre. Il divino comando scende in mezzo a loro, perché sappiate che Allah ha potere sopra tutte le cose, e che Allah abbraccia tulle le cose nella Sua conoscenza.

Spanish

Al-lah es Quien creó siete cielos y otras tantas tierras. El mandamiento Divino desciende en mitad de ellos, para que sepáis que Al-lah tiene poder sobre todas las cosas y que Al-lah abarca todo en Su conocimiento.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اللہ وہی ہے جس نے سات آسمان پیدا کیے ہیں اور زمینیں[1] بھی آسمانوں کے عدد کے مطابق (پیدا کی ہیں) ان (آسمانوں اور ان زمینوں) کے درمیان اس کا حکم نازل ہوتا رہتا ہے تا کہ تم جان لو کہ اللہ ہر ایک چیز پر قادر [2]ہے۔ اور اسی طرح اللہ ہر چیز کا علم سے احاطہ کیے ہوئے ہے[3]۔

اس جگہ اَرْض اسمِ جنس کے طور پر استعمال ہوا ہے جو مفرد اور جمع دونوں معنے دیتا ہے۔ اس لئے ہم نے زمینیں ترجمہ کیا ہے ’’زمین‘‘ ترجمہ نہیں کیا۔

خواہ تم گمراہی میں کتنا بھی بڑھ جاؤ۔ پھر بھی وہ اپنی ہدایت بھیج کر تم کو واپس لا سکتا ہے۔

یعنی جب خدائی تعلیم آتی ہے تو ہر انسان کی اندرونی قابلیت کے مطابق آتی ہے۔ جس سے پتہ لگتا ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے انسان کی تمام قوتوں کا اپنے علم کے ذریعہ سے احاطہ کیا ہوا ہے۔

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اللہ وہ ہے جس نے سات آسمان بنائے اور زمین کی قسم سے بھی اُنہی کے مانند ان کے درمیان حکم نازل ہوتا رہتا ہے (یہ بات تمہیں اس لیے بتائی جا رہی ہے) تاکہ تم جان لو کہ اللہ ہر چیز پر قدرت رکھتا ہے، اور یہ کہ اللہ کا علم ہر چیز پر محیط ہے

English - Sahih

It is Allah who has created seven heavens and of the earth, the like of them. [His] command descends among them so you may know that Allah is over all things competent and that Allah has encompassed all things in knowledge.

الله ہی ہے جس نے سات آسمان پیدا کیے اور زمینیں بھی اتنی ہی ان میں حکم نازل ہوا کرتا ہے تاکہ تم جان لو کہ الله ہر چیز پر قادر ہے اور الله نے ہر چیز کو علم سے احاطہ کر رکھا ہے
