وَإِذَا حُشِرَ ٱلنَّاسُ كَانُوا۟ لَهُمْ أَعْدَآءً وَكَانُوا۟ بِعِبَادَتِهِمْ كَٰفِرِينَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And when mankind are gathered together they will become enemies to them, and will deny their worship.

English - Five Volume Translation

[b]And when mankind is gathered together, they (false deities) will be enemies to them (their worshippers) and will deny their worship.[3763]

6:23; 10:29.

Commentary:

In this verse the votaries of false gods are told that not only will their gods not answer their prayers unto the Day of Resurrection, but will disown them on that awful day when they (the idolaters) will be made to face the consequences of their idolatrous beliefs and practices.

English - Short Commentary Translation

[b]And when mankind are raised up after death, the false deities will be enemies of their worshippers and will deny their worship.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور جب لوگ اکٹھے کئے جائیں گے تو وہ (مزعومہ معبود) اُن کے دشمن ہوں گے اور ان کی عبادت کا انکار کردیں گے۔

French

Et lorsque les hommes seront rassemblés, ces soi-disant divinités deviendront leurs ennemies, et désavoueront leur adoration.

German

Und wenn die Menschen versammelt werden, werden sie ihre Feinde sein und ihre Anbetung verleugnen.

Chinese

[b]当人类 (死而复生), 被集合起来时, (虚假的崇拜对象) 将是他们的 (崇拜者的) 敌人, 并将否认他们的崇拜。

E dopo che l'umanità sarà radunata insieme, saranno loro nemici e negheranno la loro adorazione.

Spanish

Mas cuando los humanos sean reunidos juntos, se harán enemigos suyos, y negarán su adoración.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور جب لوگوں کو دوبارہ زندہ کرکے اٹھایا جائے گا وہ (جھوٹے بنائے ہوئے معبود[1]) ان کے دشمن ہوں گے اور ان کی عبادت کا انکار کریں گے۔

اس سے مراد وہ معبود ہیں جن کا ذکر پہلی آیت میں ان الفاظ میں آچکا ہے کہ جو شخص اللہ کے سوا ان ہستیوں کو پکارتا ہے جو اسے قیامت تک جواب نہیں دے سکتیں بلکہ وہ ہستیاں اس کی دعاؤں سے بالکل غافل ہیں‘ وہ اپنے پکارنے سے کیا فائدہ اٹھا سکتا ہے۔

اور جب تمام انسان جمع کیے جائیں گے اُس وقت وہ اپنے پکارنے والوں کے دشمن اور ان کی عبادت کے منکر ہوں گے

English - Sahih

And when the people are gathered [that Day], they [who were invoked] will be enemies to them, and they will be deniers of their worship.

او ر جب لوگ جمع کئےجائیں گے تو وہ ان کے دشمن ہو جائیں گے اور ان کی عبادت کے منکر ہوں گے
