فَأَقِمْ وَجْهَكَ لِلدِّينِ ٱلْقَيِّمِ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِىَ يَوْمٌ لَّا مَرَدَّ لَهُۥ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ ۖ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصَّدَّعُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

So set thy face to the service of the right religion before there comes the day from Allah for which there will be no averting. On that day mankind will split up into parts.

Important Words:

یصدعون (will split up) is derived from صدع (sada‘a). صدعه means, he clove, split or slit it. تصدع القوم means, the people became separated or dispersed. یصدعون means, they will become separated or split up (Lane & Aqrab).

English - Short Commentary Translation

[b]So set thy face to the service of the right religion, before there comes the day from Allah for which there will be no averting. On that day believers and disbelievers will be separated from each other.

10:106; 30:31.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

پس تُو اپنی توجہ مضبوط اور قائم رہنے والے دین کے لئے مرکوز رکھ پیشتر اس سے کہ وہ دن آجائے جس کا کسی طَور ٹلنا اللہ کی طرف سے ممکن نہ ہوگا۔ اس دن وہ پراگندہ ہو جائیں گے۔

French

Dévoue donc toute ton attention à la religion droite qui aide les autres à être droites, avant que ne vienne d’Allāh le jour qu'on ne peut repousser. Ce jour-là ils se diviseront en groupes distincts les uns des autres.

German

Richte dein Antlitz auf den beständigen Glauben, bevor der Tag kommt, für den es keine Wehr gibt gegen Allah. An jenem Tage werden sie gespalten sein.

Chinese

[b]在不可避免的那天从安拉那里来临之前, 你要完全献身于正确的宗教。那天他们 (信仰者和不信仰者) 将彼此分离。

Italian

Disponi dunque il tuo volto alla religione che è retta e aiuta gli altri ad essere retti, prima che venga il giorno da Allah, al quale non si potrà sfuggire in alcun modo. In quel giorno saranno divisi in gruppi ben distinti l'uno dall'altro.

Spanish

Levanta pues tu rostro hacia la religión justa que ayuda a los demás a ser justos, antes de que llegue el día de Al‑lah en el que no abrá escape. En ese día se dividirán en grupos, distintos entre si .

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

پس تو اپنی توجہ کو قائم رہنے والے دین کی طرف پھیر دے پیشتر اس کے کہ وہ دن آئے جس کو ٹلانے کے لئے اللہ کی طرف سے کوئی علاج نہیں اترا جس دن وہ (مومن اور کافر) ایک دوسرے سے الگ ہو جائیں گے[1]۔

یعنی مسلمان غالب آجائیں گے اور اپنا طریق حکومت چلائیں گے۔ جس کا ذکر سورۃ براءۃ میں کیا گیا ہے۔

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

پس (اے نبیؐ) اپنا رُخ مضبوطی کے ساتھ جما دو اِس دین راست کی سمت میں قبل اس کے کہ وہ دن آئے جس کے ٹل جانے کی کوئی صورت اللہ کی طرف سے نہیں ہے اُس دن لوگ پھَٹ کر ایک دُوسرے سے الگ ہو جائیں گے

English - Sahih

So direct your face toward the correct religion before a Day comes from Allah of which there is no repelling. That Day, they will be divided.

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

سو تو اپنا منہ سیدھی راہ پرسیدھا رکھ اس سے پہلے کہ وہ دن آ پہنچے جسے الله کی طرف سے پھرنا نہیں اس دن لوگ جدا جدا ہوں گے

English - Talal Itani

So set your face to the religion right, before [that] comes a Day not (can be) averted [it] from Allah. That Day, they will be divided.

اردہ تفصیرِ صغیر نوٹس ^*

یعنی مسلمان غالب آجائیں گے اور اپنا طریق حکومت چلائیں گے۔ جس کا ذکر سورۃ براءۃ میں کیا گیا ہے۔

So set thy face to the true religion before there comes a day from God that cannot be turned back; on that day they shall be sundered apart.

So turn your face exclusively towards the True Faith before there comes the Day whose coming from Allah cannot be averted, the Day when people will split into groups.

So set your face towards the straight path before the day arrives from God which is irreversible. Men will be segregated on that day.
