قُلْ إِن تُخْفُوا۟ مَا فِى صُدُورِكُمْ أَوْ تُبْدُوهُ يَعْلَمْهُ ٱللَّهُ ۗ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Say, ‘Whether you conceal what is in your breasts or reveal it, Allah knows it; and He knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. And Allah has power to do all things.’

English - Five Volume Translation

Say, [a]‘Whether you conceal what is in your breasts or reveal it, Allah knows it; and He knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. And Allah has power to do all things.’[320]

27:75; 28:70.

Commentary:

This and the succeeding verse are addressed to the enemies of Islam. They are warned that all their open or secret machinations against Islam shall come to naught, for the obvious reason that the Almighty and the All-Knowing God had promised to protect it.

English - Short Commentary Translation

Say, [b]‘Whether you hide what is in your breasts or reveal it, Allah knows it; and He knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. And Allah has power to do all things.’

27:75; 28:70.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

تُو کہہ دے خواہ تم اسے چھپاﺅ جو تمہارے سینوں میں ہے یا اسے ظاہر کرو اللہ اسے جان لے گا۔ اور وہ جانتا ہے جو آسمانوں میں ہے اور جو زمین میں ہے۔ اور اللہ ہر چیز پر جسے وہ چاہے دائمی قدرت رکھتا ہے۔

French

Dis : « Que vous dissimuliez ce qui est dans vos poitrines ou que vous le dévoiliez, Allāh le sait ; et Il sait tout ce qui est dans les cieux et tout ce qui est sur la terre ; et Allāh a le pouvoir de faire tout ce qu’Il veut. »

German

Sprich: "Ob ihr verbergt, was in euren Herzen ist, oder ob ihr es kundtut, Allah weiß es; Er weiß, was in den Himmeln ist und was auf Erden; und Allah hat Macht über alle Dinge."

Chinese

你 (对他们) 说: “凡是在你们胸中的, [a]无论你们隐藏它, 或者显现它, 安拉都是晓得的。他知道天地之间一切的 (东西)。安拉对每一事物都是全能的。”

27:75; 28:70.

Di': «Sia che nascondiate ciò che è nell'animo vostro, sia che lo riveliate, Allah lo sa. Ed Egli sa ciò che è nei cieli e ciò che è nella terra. E Allah ha il potere su ogni cosa.»

Spanish

Diles. “Tanto si ocultáis lo que hay en vuestros corazones como si lo reveláis, Al-lah lo conoce; y Él sabe todo lo que hay en los cielos y en la tierra. Y Al-lah tiene poder para hacer todas las cosas”.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

تو (ان سے) کہہ دے (کہ) جو (کچھ) تمہارے سنیوں میں ہے اسے خواہ چھپاؤ یا اسے ظاہر کرو (بہرحال) اللہ اسے جان[1] لے گا۔ اور جو کچھ (بھی) آسمانوں میں ہے وہ اسے اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہے اسے (بھی) جانتا ہے۔ اور اللہ ہر ایک چیز پر بڑا قادر ہے۔

علم کلام میں اللہ تعالیٰ کے علم کو دو طرح کا ظاہر کیا گیا ہے۔ ایک علم ازلی ہے جو کبھی نہیں بدلتا۔ اور ایک علم وقوعہ کا ہے یعنی جب کوئی بات واقع ہو جاتی ہے تو اسے یہ علم بھی ہو جاتا ہے کہ یہ بات ہو گئی ہے۔ اسی کی طرف اس آیت میں اشارہ ہے اور اس کا یہ مفہوم نہیں کہ پہلے اللہ تعالیٰ کو علم نہیں تھا لیکن بعد میں ان باتوں کا علم ہو گیا۔

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اے نبیؐ! لوگوں کو خبردار کر دو کہ تمہارے دلوں میں جو کچھ ہے، اُسے خواہ تم چھپاؤ یا ظاہر کرو، اللہ بہرحال اسے جانتا ہے، زمین و آسمان کی کوئی چیز اس کے علم سے باہر نہیں ہے اور اُس کا اقتدار ہر چیز پر حاوی ہے

English - Sahih

Say, "Whether you conceal what is in your breasts or reveal it, Allah knows it. And He knows that which is in the heavens and that which is on the earth. And Allah is over all things competent.

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

تو کہہ دے اگر تم اپنے دل کی بات چھپاؤ یا ظاہر کرو اسے الله جانتا ہے اور جو کچھ آسمانوں اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہے اسے جانتا ہے اور الله ہر چیز ہر قادر ہے

English - Talal Itani

Say, "Whether you conceal what (is) in your breasts or you disclose it - knows it Allah. And He knows what (is) in the heavens and what (is) in the earth. And Allah (is) on every thing All-Powerful."
