فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِۦ نَقْعًا

Important Words:

أثرن (raise) is transitive verb from ثار . They say ثار الغبار means, the dust became stirred up and spread upon the horizon. أثار الارض means, he tilled the ground. أثار الفتنة means, he stirred up the mischief (Lane & Aqrab).

Commentary:

The assault of the Muslim forces is so fierce and overwhelming that the whole horizon becomes dark with the dust raised by the quick steps of their horses.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

جس کے نتیجہ میں اس (صبح کے وقت) میں غبار اڑاتے[4] ہیں۔

یعنی جب وہ حملہ کرتے ہیں تو صرف سڑکوں پر سے ہی چنگاریاں نہیں نکلتیں بلکہ ایک ایسا شور پڑ جاتا ہے کہ جس گاؤں پر انہوں نے حملہ کیا ہوتا ہے اس کے لوگ گھبرا کر نکل آتے ہیں اور تمام جَوّ میں غبار اڑنے لگتا ہے۔
