English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Allah forbids you not, respecting those who have not fought against you on account of your religion, and who have not driven you forth from your homes, that you be kind to them and act equitably towards them; surely Allah loves those who are equitable.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اللہ تمہیں ان سے منع نہیں کرتا جنہوں نے تم سے دین کے معاملہ میں قتال نہیں کیا اور نہ تمہیں بے وطن کیا کہ تم اُن سے نیکی کرو اور اُن سے انصاف کے ساتھ پیش آؤ۔ یقیناً اللہ انصاف کرنے والوں سے محبت کرتاہے۔
French
A l’égard de ceux qui ne se sont pas battus contre vous à cause de votre religion, et qui ne vous ont pas chassés de vos habitations, Allāh ne vous interdit pas d’être bienveillants, et d’agir équitablement envers eux. Assurément Allāh aime ceux qui sont équitables.

اللہ تم کو ان لوگوں سے نیکی کرنے اور عدل کا معاملہ کرنے سے نہیں روکتا جو تم سے دینی اختلاف کی وجہ سے نہیں لڑے اور جنہوں نے تم کو تمہارے گھروں سے نہیں نکالا۔ اللہ انصاف کرنے والوں کو پسند کرتا ہے۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
Allah forbids you not respecting those who have not fought against you on account of your religion, and who have not driven you out from your homes, that you be kind to them and deal equitably with them; surely, Allah loves those who are equitable.
English - Five Volume Translation
Allah forbids you not, respecting those who have not fought against you on account of your religion, and who have not driven you forth from your homes, that you be kind to them and deal equitably with them; surely, Allah loves those who are equitable.[4216]
Commentary:
The verse makes it clear that the commandment to Muslims to have nothing to do with disbelievers has a proviso. It applies only to those disbelievers, as the next verse shows, who are at war with Muslims and are inimically disposed towards Islam. Friendly relations as such with non-Muslims are not forbidden. Besides, extra emphasis has been laid, in this verse, on kind and equitable treatment of non-Muslims.
The fact that this and the following verse were revealed at a time when relations between Muslims and disbelievers were highly strained helps to understand the real purpose and object of the prohibitory commandment.

اللہ تمیں اس بات سے نہیں روکتا کہ تم ان لوگوں کے ساتھ نیکی اور انصاف کا برتاؤ کرو جنہوں نے دین کے معاملہ میں تم سے جنگ نہیں کی ہے اور تمہیں تمہارے گھروں سے نہیں نکالا ہے اللہ انصاف کرنے والوں کو پسند کرتا ہے
English - Sahih
Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.

الله تمہیں ان لوگو ں سے منع نہیں کرتا جو تم سے دین کے بارے میں نہیں لڑتے اورنہ انہوں نے تمہیں تمہارے گھروں سے نکالا ہے اس بات سے کہ تم ان سے بھلائی کرو اور ان کے حق میں انصاف کرو بیشک الله انصاف کرنے والوں کو پسند کرتا ہے

Commentary:
The verse makes it clear that the commandment to Muslims to have nothing to do with disbelievers has a proviso. Allāh vous interdit seulement, à l’égard de ceux qui se sont battus contre vous à cause de votre religion, et qui vous ont chassés de vos habitations, et qui ont aidé à votre expulsion, de vous lier d’amitié avec eux, et quiconque se lie d’amitié avec eux – ce sont ceux-là qui sont les injustes.

وہ تمہیں جس بات سے روکتا ہے وہ تو یہ ہے کہ تم اُن لوگوں سے دوستی کرو جنہوں نے تم سے دین کے معاملہ میں جنگ کی ہے اور تمہیں تمہارے گھروں سے نکالا ہے اور تمہارے اخراج میں ایک دوسرے کی مدد کی ہے اُن سے جو لوگ دوستی کریں وہی ظالم ہیں
