وَإِن كَانَ طَآئِفَةٌ مِّنكُمْ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱلَّذِىٓ أُرْسِلْتُ بِهِۦ وَطَآئِفَةٌ لَّمْ يُؤْمِنُوا۟ فَٱصْبِرُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ يَحْكُمَ ٱللَّهُ بَيْنَنَا ۚ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ ٱلْحَٰكِمِينَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

‘And if there is a party among you who believes in that with which I have been sent, and a party who does not believe, then have patience until Allah judges between us. And He is the Best of judges.’

English - Five Volume Translation

‘And if there is a party among you who believes in that with which I have been sent, and a party who does not believe, then have patience until Allah judges between us. And He is the best of judges.’[986]

Commentary:

The verse refers to the last course that a Prophet adopts after the failure of all his efforts to make his people see the error of their ways and accept the truth. He leaves the whole matter in the hand of God and asks them to wait till God should show a decisive sign which would clearly distinguish between right and wrong.

English - Short Commentary Translation

‘And if there is a party among you, who believes in that with which I have been sent, and a party who does not believe, then have patience until Allah judges between us. And He is the Best of judges.’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور اگر تم میں سے ایک گروہ اس (ہدایت) پر ایمان لے آیا ہے جسے دے کر مجھے بھجوایا گیا اور ایک گروہ ایسا ہے جو ایمان نہیں لایا تو صبر کرو یہاں تک کہ اللہ ہمارے درمیان فیصلہ کر دے اور وہ فیصلہ کرنے والوں میں سب سے بہتر ہے۔

French

Et s’il y a parmi vous un groupe qui croit en ce avec quoi j’ai été envoyé, et un groupe qui n’y croit pas, alors patientez jusqu’à ce qu’Allāh juge entre nous. Et Il est le Meilleur des juges. »

German

Und wenn unter euch solche sind, die an das glauben, womit ich gesandt bin, und andere, die nicht glauben, so habet Geduld, bis Allah zwischen uns richtet, denn Er ist der beste Richter."

“如果你们一部分人信仰了我的使命, 而另一部分尚未信仰, 那么, 你们就得忍耐, 直到安拉在我们 (信仰者和不信仰者) 中加以判决。只有他是最好的判决者。”

Italian

E se vi è un gruppo fra voi che crede nel messaggio con cui io sono stato inviato, e un gruppo che non vi crede, allora abbiate pazienza finché Allah giudichi tra di noi. Ed Egli è il Migliore dei Giudici.»

“Mas si hay un grupo entre vosotros que cree en aquello con lo que he sido enviado, y un grupo que no cree, tened paciencia hasta que Al-lah juzgue entre nosotros. Él es el Mejor de los jueces”.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور اگر تم میں سے کوئی گروہ اس پر ایمان لایا ہے جس کے ساتھ میں بھیجا گیا ہوں اور کوئی گروہ ایسا ہے جو ایمان نہیں لایا تو صبر سے کام لو۔ یہاں تک کہ اللہ ہم (مومنوں اور کافروں) میں فیصلہ کر دے اور وہی سب سے بہتر فیصلہ کرنے والا ہے۔

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اگر تم میں سے ایک گروہ اس تعلیم پر جس کے ساتھ میں بھیجا گیا ہوں، ایمان لاتا ہے اور دوسرا ایمان نہیں لاتا، تو صبر کے ساتھ دیکھتے رہو یہاں تک کہ اللہ ہمارے درمیان فیصلہ کر دے، اور وہی سب سے بہتر فیصلہ کرنے والا ہے"

English - Sahih

And if there should be a group among you who has believed in that with which I have been sent and a group that has not believed, then be patient until Allah judges between us. And He is the best of judges."

اور اگر تم میں سے ایک جماعت اس پر ایمان لے آئی ہے جو میرے ذریعے سے بھیجا گیا ہے اور ایک جماعت ایمان نہیں لائی پس صبر کرو جب تک الله ہمارے درمیان فیصلہ کرے اور وہ سب سے بہتر فیصلہ کرنے والا ہے

And if (there) is a group among you (who has) believed in that which I have been sent with [it], and a group not they believe, then be patient until judges Allah between us. And He (is the) Best (of) [the] Judges."

English - Arberry

And if there is a party of you who believe in the Message I have been sent with, and a party who believe not, be patient till God shall judge between us; He is the best of judges.'

And if there are some among you who believe in the message that I bear while some do not believe, have patience till Allah shall judge between us. He is the best of those who judge.'
