وَنَبِّئْهُمْ أَنَّ ٱلْمَآءَ قِسْمَةٌۢ بَيْنَهُمْ ۖ كُلُّ شِرْبٍ مُّحْتَضَرٌ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

‘And tell them that the water is shared only between them, but as for the she-camel every drinking time may be attended by her.’

‘And tell them that the water is shared only between them, but as for the she-camel every drinking time may be attended by her.’[4026]

Important Words:

شرب (drinking) is inf. noun from شرب (shariba) and means, water that one drinks; a draught of water; a share or portion of water that falls to one’s lot; the right to use water for watering fields and beasts: a watering place; a turn or time of drinking. شرب (shurbun) means, the act of drinking (Lane & Aqrab).

English - Short Commentary Translation

‘And tell them that the water is shared between her and them, every drinking time[2907] shall be attended.’

Shirb is infinitive noun from Shariba and means, water that one drinks; a draught of water; a share or portion of water which falls to one’s lot; the right to use water for watering fields and beasts; a watering place; a turn or time of drinking. Shurb means, the act of drinking (Lane).

اور انہیں بتا دے کہ پانی ان کے درمیان (وقت کے لحاظ سے) بانٹا جاچکا ہے۔ پانی پینے کی ہر مقررہ باری کے اندر ہی حاضر ہونا ضروری ہے۔

Et dis-leur que l’eau est à partager entre la chamelle et eux ; alors, que chaque groupe aille se désaltérer à l’heure qui lui est fixée. »

Und verkünde ihnen, dass das Wasser zwischen ihnen geteilt ist, (also) soll jede Trinkzeit innegehalten werden."

你告诉他们, 水为他们 (洒姆德族人和母驼) 是分配了的, 每次到饮水的时候, 都要去 (饮水)。

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور انہیں کہہ دے کہ پانی ان کے اور تیرے درمیان تقسیم کر دیا گیا ہے۔ ہر گروہ اپنے پینے کے وقت پر حاضر ہوا کرے۔

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اِن کو جتا دے کہ پانی اِن کے اور اونٹنی کے درمیان تقسیم ہوگا اور ہر ایک اپنی باری کے دن پانی پر آئے گا"
