أَمْ لَهُم مُّلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ۖ فَلْيَرْتَقُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَسْبَٰبِ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Or is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them theirs? So let them ascend with the means at their disposal.

Or is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them theirs? So let them ascend with the means at their disposal.[3381]

Commentary:

The present verse continues the argument embodied in the preceding verse and purports to say that disbelievers pose as if the kingdom of the heavens and the earth belongs to them. Then let them gather, it says, all their means and resources against the Holy Prophet and multiply them as much as they can and use them against him. They will find to their mortification that they cannot arrest or impede the progress of the new Message.

Or, is theirs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them? Then let them ascend with the means at their disposal.[2518]

Let disbelievers collect all their means and resources against the Holy Prophet and multiply them as much as they can and use them against him.

یا کیا انہیں آسمانوں اور زمین کی اور جو اُن دونوں کے درمیان ہے بادشاہی نصیب ہے؟ پس وہ سب تدبیریں کر گزریں۔

Ou, ont-ils le royaume des cieux et de la terre et de tout ce qui se trouve entre eux ? Qu’ils montent donc, en utilisant tous les moyens dont ils disposent.

Oder ist ihrer das Königreich der Himmel und der Erde und was zwischen beiden ist? Mögen sie nur weiter Mittel und Wege ersinnen.

或者天地万物的主权都在他们的掌握中? 让他们利用他们 (所有) 的媒介, (增加他们的努力吧!)[1105]

让不信的人聚集一切方法和资源来反对穆圣并且尽他们可能增加他们的方法和资源并用之于反对他吧。

Oppure, appartiene ad essi il regno dei cieli e della terra e di tutto ciò che c'è in mezzo? Falli dunque salire, con i mezzi a loro disposizione.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

کیا آسمانوں اور زمین اور جو کچھ ان کے درمیان ہے ان سب کی بادشاہت انہی کے قبضہ میں ہے؟ اگر ایسا ہے تو چاہیے کہ رسوں کے ذریعہ سے اوپر چڑھ جائیں (اور کوئی خدائی شہادت یعنی لکھی ہوئی کتاب لے آئیں جس کو کفار پڑھ سکیں جیسا کہ وہ محمد رسول اللہ سے مانگتے تھے[1]) ۔

سورۃ بنی اسرائیل میں کفار کے ایسے ہی مطالبہ کا ذکر محمد رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہٖ وسلم سے کیا گیا ہے (دیکھئے بنی اسرائیل آیات ۹۱تا۹۴)

کیا یہ آسمان و زمین اور ان کے درمیان کی چیزوں کے مالک ہیں؟ اچھا تو یہ عالم اسباب کی بلندیوں پر چڑھ کر دیکھیں!

English - Sahih

Or is theirs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and what is between them? Then let them ascend through [any] ways of access.

یا انہیں آسمانوں اور زمین کی حکومت اور جو کچھ ان کے درمیان ہے حاصل ہے تو سیڑھیاں لگا کر چڑھ جائیں
