فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Behold, then, how evil was the end of those who were warned,

Behold, then; how evil was the end of those who were warned.[3318]

Commentary:

The lesson is writ large on the face of history that God’s Messengers appeared among all peoples, that the Divine Message was invariably received with ridicule and mockery, and that the rejecters of truth were always punished. It is to this supreme lesson of history that the attention of disbelievers is repeatedly drawn in the words of the Quran, "Behold, how evil was the end of those who were warned." Yet such is the tragedy of human affairs that disbelievers do not benefit from looking at the fate of their disbelieving predecessors.

English - Short Commentary Translation

Behold, then, how evil was the end of those who were warned,

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

پس دیکھ کہ ڈرائے جانے والوں کا انجام کیسا ہوا۔

French

Vois donc combien mauvaise fut la fin de ceux qui furent avertis,

Betrachte nun, wie der Ausgang derer war, die gewarnt worden waren,

看哪! 受警告者的终局是怎样的。

Italian

Vedi, ora, quanto cattiva fu la fine di coloro che erano stati ammoniti,

Mirad, pues, qué malvado fue el fin de quienes fueron advertidos.
