مَّا كَانَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّ مِنْ حَرَجٍ فِيمَا فَرَضَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُۥ ۖ سُنَّةَ ٱللَّهِ فِى ٱلَّذِينَ خَلَوْا۟ مِن قَبْلُ ۚ وَكَانَ أَمْرُ ٱللَّهِ قَدَرًا مَّقْدُورًا

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

There can be no hindrance for the Prophet with regard to that which Allah has made incumbent upon him. Such indeed was the way of Allah with those who have passed away before — and the command of Allah is a decree ordained —

English - Five Volume Translation

No blame can attach to the Prophet with respect to that which Allah has made incumbent upon him. Such indeed was the way of Allah with those who have passed away before—and the command of Allah is a decree ordained—[3105]

Commentary:

The reference in the words, "that which Allah has made incumbent upon him," and "the command of Allah is a decree ordained," is to the Holy Prophet’s marriage with Zainab. The words show that this marriage took place in obedience to express Divine command.

English - Short Commentary Translation

No blame can attach to the Prophet with respect to that which Allah has made incumbent[2358] upon him. Such, indeed, was the way of Allah with those who have passed before—and the command of Allah is a decree ordained—

نبی پر اس بارہ میں کوئی تنگی نہیں ہونی چاہئے جو اللہ نے اس کے لئے فرض کر دیا ہو، اللہ کی اس سنّت کے طور پر جو پہلے لوگوں میں بھی جاری کی گئی۔ اور اللہ کا فیصلہ ایک جچے تلے اندازے کے مطابق ہوا کرتا ہے۔

نبی پر اس معاملے میں جو اس پر اللہ نے فرض کیا ہے کوئی الزام نہیں۔ یہی طریق اللہ نے پہلے لوگوں میں جاری کیا تھا اور خدا کا حکم تو ایک فیصلہ شدہ چیز ہے (کوئی اسے ٹلا نہیں سکتا)۔

نبی پر کسی ایسے کام میں کوئی رکاوٹ نہیں ہے جو اللہ نے اس کے لیے مقرر کر دیا ہو یہی اللہ کی سنت ان سب انبیاء کے معاملہ میں رہی ہے جو پہلے گزر چکے ہیں اور اللہ کا حکم ایک قطعی طے شدہ فیصلہ ہوتا ہے

English - Sahih

There is not to be upon the Prophet any discomfort concerning that which Allah has imposed upon him. [This is] the established way of Allah with those [prophets] who have passed on before. And ever is the command of Allah a destiny decreed.

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

نبی پر اس بات میں کوئی گناہ نہیں ہے جو الله نے اس اس کے لیے مقرر کر دی ہے جیسا کہ الله کا پہلے لوگو ں میں دستور تھا اور الله کا کام اندازے پر مقرر کیا ہوا ہے

Not (there can) be upon the Prophet any discomfort in what Allah has imposed on him. (That is the) Way (of) Allah concerning those who passed away before. And is (the) Command (of) Allah a decree destined.

There is no fault in the Prophet, touching what God has ordained for him -- God's wont with those who passed away before; and God's commandment is doom decreed;

There could be no hindrance to the Prophet regarding what Allah ordained for him. Such has been Allah's Way (with the Prophets) who went before. Allah's command is a decree firmly determined.

There is no constraint on the Prophet in what God has decreed for him. This has been the way of God with (apostles) who have gone before you, and God's command is a determined act.
