English - Five Volume Translation
Dost thou not see how they wander aimlessly in every valley,[2813]
Important Words:
یھیمون (wander aimlessly) is derived from ھام which means, he was or became thirsty. They say ھام الرجل علی وجھه i.e. the man went at random, not knowing where he was going (Lane & Aqrab).
Commentary:
The poets pursue every colourful fancy. Their themes have little coherence and consistency, and they lack continuity. Their thought is fragmentary.
