فَلَا تَدْعُ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُعَذَّبِينَ

Call not, therefore, on any other God beside Allah, lest thou become one of those who are punished.

Commentary:

This verse contains the fourth argument in support of the claim that the Quran could not have been the Devil’s work. A satanic production could not have laid so much stress on the Unity of God as has been laid in the Quran.

The Qur’an could not have been the Devil’s work. A satanic production could not have laid so much stress on Divine Unity as has been laid in the Qur’an.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

پس تو اللہ کے ساتھ کوئی معبود نہ پکار ورنہ تُو عذاب دئیے جانے والوں میں سے ہوجائے گا۔

Non invocare, quindi, alcun altro dio all'infuori di Allah, se non vuoi diventare uno di quelli che sono puniti.

No invoques pues a ningún otro dios fuera de Al-lah, no sea que te conviertas en uno de los castigados.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

پس تو اللہ کے ساتھ کسی اور معبود کو نہ پکار‘ ورنہ تو مبتلائے عذاب لوگوں میں سے ہو جائے گا۔

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

پس اے محمدؐ، اللہ کے ساتھ کسی دُوسرے معبُود کو نہ پکارو، ورنہ تم بھی سزا پانے والوں میں شامل ہو جاؤ گے

English - Sahih

So do not invoke with Allah another deity and [thus] be among the punished.

سو الله کے ساتھ کسی اور معبود کو نہ پکار ورنہ تو بھی عذاب میں مبتلا ہو جائے گا
