لَا تَحْسَبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مُعْجِزِينَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ وَمَأْوَىٰهُمُ ٱلنَّارُ ۖ وَلَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Think not that those who disbelieve can frustrate Our plan in the earth; their abode is Hell; and it is indeed an evil resort.

Think not that those who disbelieve can frustrate Our plan in the earth; their abode is Hell; and it is indeed an evil resort.[2632]

Commentary:

The verse purports to say that the kingdom and dominion of the world will be bestowed upon the followers of Islam and they will become the leaders and teachers of mankind. It is God’s plan and His decree and no one can frustrate Divine decree. All efforts on the part of the enemies of truth to alter this inviolable Divine decree will end in failure. As long as Khilafat will endure among Muslims as an active force Muslims will march from success to success.

Think not that those who disbelieve can frustrate Our design in the earth; their abode is Hell; and it is indeed an evil resort.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

ہرگز گمان نہ کر کہ وہ لوگ جنہوں نے کفر کیا وہ (مومنوں کو) زمین میں بے بس کرتے پھریں گے جبکہ ان کا ٹھکانا آگ ہے اور بہت ہی بُرا ٹھکانا ہے۔

Ne pense pas que ceux qui ne croient pas peuvent faire échouer Notre dessein sur terre ; leur habitation est le Feu, et la destination est vraiment mauvaise !

German

Wähne nicht, die da ungläubig sind, könnten auf Erden entrinnen; ihr Aufenthalt ist die Hölle; und eine schlimme Bestimmung ist das fürwahr.

你绝不要以为, 不信者 (以自己的阴谋诡计) 在大地上可以挫败 (我的计划)。他们的归宿是火狱; 那确是太坏的归宿之所。

Italian

Non pensate che quelli che non credono possano frustrare il Nostro progetto sulla terra. La loro dimora è l'Inferno; ed è invero un soggiorno iniquo.

Spanish

No penséis que los incrédulos pueden frustrar Nuestro plan en la tierra; su morada es el Infierno; ¡qué lugar más malo es en verdad!.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

(اور اے مخاطب[1]) کبھی خیال نہ کر کہ کفار زمین میں ہمیں اپنی تدبیروں سے عاجز کر دیں گے اور ان کا ٹھکانا تو دوزخ ہے اور وہ بہت برا ٹھکانا ہے۔

اس سے پہلی آیت میں جمع کے صیغے ہیں اور یہاں مفرد کا صیغہ ہے اس سے صاف ظاہر ہے کہ جن افراد سے بنی ہے ان میں سے ہر ایک کا اس جگہ ذکر ہے۔

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

جو لوگ کفر کر رہے ہیں ا ن کے متعلق اس غلط فہمی میں نہ رہو کہ وہ زمین میں اللہ کو عاجز کر دیں گے ان کا ٹھکانا دوزخ ہے اور وہ بڑا ہی برا ٹھکانا ہے

English - Sahih

Never think that the disbelievers are causing failure [to Allah] upon the earth. Their refuge will be the Fire - and how wretched the destination.

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

کافروں کی نسبت یہ خیال نہ کر کہ ملک میں عاجز کر دیں گے اور ان کا ٹھکانہ دوزخ ہے اور بہت ہی برا ٹھکانہ ہے

(Do) not think those who disbelieve (can) escape in the earth. And their abode (will be) the Fire and wretched is the destination.
