اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

تمہارا ربّ سب سے زیادہ جانتا ہے جو تمہارے دلوں میں ہے۔ اگر تم نیک ہو تو وہ یقیناً بکثرت توبہ کرنے والوں کو بہت بخشنے والا ہے۔

Votre Seigneur sait le mieux ce qui est dans votre esprit : si vous êtes justes, alors assurément Il est Très-Pardonnant envers ceux qui se tournent vers Lui avec constance.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

تمہارا رب جو کچھ (بھی) تمہارے دلوں میں ہو اسے (سب سے) بہتر جانتا ہے (اور) اگر تم نیک ہوگے تو (یاد رکھو کہ) وہ باربار رجوع کرنے والوں کو بہت ہی بخشنے والا ہے۔

تمہارا رب خوب جانتا ہے کہ تمہارے دلوں میں کیا ہے اگر تم صالح بن کر رہو تو وہ ایسے سب لوگوں کے لیے در گزر کرنے والا ہے جو اپنے قصور پر متنبہ ہو کر بندگی کے رویے کی طرف پلٹ آئیں

Your Lord is most knowing of what is within yourselves. If you should be righteous [in intention] - then indeed He is ever, to the often returning [to Him], Forgiving.

جو تمہارے دلوں میں ہے تمہارا رب خوب جانتا ہے اگر تم نیک ہو گے تو وہ توبہ کرنے والوں کو بخشنے والا ہے

Commentary:

This verse shows that if a person serves his parents sincerely and wholeheartedly, then God, out of His Mercy, makes up for his remissness and lapse, if any. It is to this commandment about being kind to one’s parents in their old age that the Holy Prophet referred when he said, "Unfortunate is that person who got an opportunity to serve one of his parents and failed to earn God’s forgiveness" (Kathir, vol. 6, p. 61).
